About Me
Hi! My name is Anthony Paparelli and I have been working with technology for over 30 years. I started out as a computer tech installing and repairing personal computers for businesses. From there, I grew into networking, servers, cabling, routers, and consulting for larger and larger businesses. I guess you could say I was there when the Word Wide Web was born (am I that old? haha). From it’s early beginnings in the 80’s and early 90’s, I saw the potential for the technology to change the world. Fast forward to the late 90’s, I moved from simply accessing the web to helping small businesses and organizations create a presence on the web. In 2002, I focused my career entirely on web development and AAP Consulting was born. WordPress came on the scene around 2003 and I was immediately intrigued by the idea. I had already been experimenting with a few content management systems and even started developing my own CMS using PHP but I soon saw how WordPress could offer so many more possibilities and it quickly became my platform of choice. I’ve been developing and supporting WordPress websites ever since.
What Is WPRx
Over the years, I’ve seen how the lack of support can hinder and frustrate business owners. I often times cringe when I hear a technical person trying to explain a problem or solution to a client. Having a solid background in both business and technology, I feel I am in an excellent position to act as a bridge, so to speak, between the two worlds. And so I created WPRx to specifically focus on helping entrepreneurs and business owners with technology so they can focus on building their business and brand.
How We Can Help
The first way we can help is by providing support plans for our clients. By subscribing to a support plan, you can rest assured that you’ll have a support resource available when you need it. From simple questions to complex troubleshooting, you can rely on our expertise to get your problem solved.
Second, we also provide additional services for clients that need support, project work or customizations. Although we highly recommend a support plan, we understand that some either can’t afford or don’t need a support plan. Whether you have a support plan or not, we are available for project work, one-time fixes, or whatever support you might need. Of course there are advantages to having a support plan such as priority support and discounted rates, but we do provide support for clients that don’t have a support plan.
What’s In A Name?
I registered the WPRx domain name several years ago and primarily used it as a platform for development and testing. Of course “WP” stands for WordPress. And “Rx” is a prescription as in, “just what the doctor ordered.” Being a solution-oriented WordPress support service, I think the name fits exactly what we do!
